Victoria and Nic live in the US, and due to the pandemic, their previously planned wedding was cancelled. They ended up eloping in 2021, and once they could travel back to Australia, they had a wedding celebration with their Aussie family and friends.
“The only place we wanted to celebrate was piggs peake and Yellow Billy – which was always a place we visited when back in Australia. Being able to have the ceremony and reception at the same venue was so convenient for us and our guests.”
CEREMONY
“Our ceremony was short and sweet. There were some lovely sweet moments punctuated by rounds of laughter from everyone which was just what we wanted.”
RECEPTION
“The barrel room at piggs peake looked so beautiful and the food was delicious. Our reception was very casual without too much formality…which meant we were all on the dance floor between dinner courses.
Our colour palette was quite bold for a wedding. Our flowers were a beautiful mix of reds and bright pinks, which felt very fun and celebratory. It was a great contrast to the more rustic look of the barrel room.”
DETAILS
“Our Photographer Matt was a standout. Matt put us at ease on the day and made the process of taking photos (something that we don’t enjoy) a blast. His enthusiasm was contagious, which really allowed us to relax, laugh and have fun.
“Rochelle from Isn’t It Lovely Events is a magician. Planning a wedding and finding vendors while you live in another country is a daunting process, and we couldn’t have done it without her. She organised so much and styled everything just beautifully.”
