Private Property, Bishops Bridge.
Sophia and Josh were married at a beautiful private property owned by Sophia’s Aunty.
“When we mentioned we wanted to host a small Baby-Q (BBQ to celebrate our new family member approaching – Frankie), my Aunty offered to host it there. We decided to extend the celebration and host a small ceremony over breakfast with a few nearest and dearest.”
CEREMONY
“Our ceremony was intimate, informal and love-filled. We invited our immediate family and a few friends (less than 30 in total – inclusive of puppies!) for a short ceremony, book ended by croissants and some hugs.”
RECEPTION
“For our reception, we enjoyed an informal setting of roaming canapés, rotisserie meats and salads, some backyard games and catching-up with friends and family alike. In terms of styling, there wasn’t a lot to consider for this.”
DETAILS
“We wanted the day to radiate joy, so we opted for bright coloured florals, and I did my makeup to match. We were drawn to Caitlin’s photography style as it perfectly complemented what we were after!
For us, rather than focusing on a checklist of wedding details, we made sure that every choice meant something to us. This meant that we didn’t have a lot of the traditional features to our day – but that everything we had on the day brought us joy.”
