“I wanted the girls to love what they wore – and I have never really been a big fan of the one-dress-fits-all for bridesmaids. So they each picked a dress with the brief being “think flax and linen”.
Matt really wanted the boys to wear “party shirts” and insisted on them being short sleeved to match the casual vibe. The shirts were matched with either tan, brown or beige chinos.”
“We’re lucky enough to live right near the best cafe in Avoca Beach, Like Minds. After losing our original venue to COVID, the lovely owners gave us the biggest gift by letting us hold our wedding at their beloved cafe.
The courtyard was the perfect size to fit our 50 guests. We strung festoon lights and filled the space with candles and boho rugs to create warmth and intimacy. We parked our kombi across the entryway for added privacy and a unique backdrop.”
