“We love the landscape of the Hunter Valley. The vineyards, soft grasses, ponds, the escarpment in the background and the amazing sunsets. Our venue gave us all of the above and more.”
“We were legally married a month prior to our wedding day at the Sydney Registry Office. So for our big day, Rhi’s oldest brother Lindsey acted as our “celebrant”. We wanted a deeply personal ceremony with our friends and family, and who better to help us tie the knot than Rhi’s brother.”
“Our photographer Brooke delivered the most stunning wedding gallery we’ve ever seen, where every photo sums up the day. She has a huge creative drive that excited us and made us comfortable at the same time.
Besides her ability to capture unique and timeless shots, it’s everything else about how Brooke operates that made her the dream for our special day.”
Rhianna wore her Mother’s veil from 41 years ago when she married Rhianna’s Father. She had to stain the veil with tea leaves to get it to perfectly match the tones of the dress.
“We wanted our reception to be a celebration and a reflection of our relationship. Lawson being a musician meant that a lot of our fondest and earliest memories were at music festivals. So, we had a festival style party.
Mostly outdoors, the seating was casual with bar stools, bench seats and couches. Guests were mingling around fire pits, chatting over what cocktail to order, kids were eating gelato and the dance floor was packed all night long.”
