“We had been terrified that it was going to rain all day. Everything pointed to it. But we woke up on the morning to beautiful sunshine and not a cloud in the sky!
We chose to do things a little bit backwards and have canapés and drinks served PRIOR to the ceremony, so everyone had something to eat and a glass of bubbles before the formalities.
I walked down the aisle to a violin cover of A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman, and Brenton cried a lot. Our celebrant Kez wrote a kick ass ceremony for us and there was just so much love and laughter.”
“We incorporated our loves for Alice in Wonderland, Jurassic Park and games wherever we could. Each table had Would You Rather cards for guests to use as conversation starters.
Our colour scheme was rich and romantic. Our amazing florist created INCREDIBLE foliage chandeliers, and the tables were lined with a combination of foliage and reflexed roses. It was so beautiful.”
“There was just so much love and laughter throughout the night. It was a freezing cold night, so we were able to snuggle up by the fire pit, which was so wonderful and romantic.”
