As both foodies and wine lovers, Louise and Stephane had no doubt in their mind that they would be married in the Hunter Valley.
“We love the history of the vineyards and the sweeping valleys and the mountains in the distance. It’s such a picturesque region. When we first saw Greystone Estate, we fell in love with the stunning venue. It was a venue with wow factor! Plus it sleeps 32 people, which meant we could make a weekend of our wedding and have some of our guests stay onsite.”
CEREMONY
“Our ceremony was full of love, laughter, and happiness. The flower girls and page boys stole the show with their cuteness. Beautiful classical music, children giggling and our family and closest friends…it was so romantic and magical!”
RECEPTION
“Our reception was full of fun, wine, and lots of dancing! The speeches were a highlight. I surprised Stephane by learning French secretly before the wedding. When I did my speech, I commenced in English and then part way through switched to French. The look on his face was priceless!
Our styling theme was Country Luxe with a touch of glamour. We wanted a soft, romantic, timeless feel. The colour palette was white and blush pink.”
DETAILS
“I always knew that I wanted to wear a high neck, long sleeve, low back lace gown. When I saw my gown, it was love at first sight. This was the dress I had always dreamed of wearing! The gown had a very long train and definitely added some tradition, drama and glamour. For the reception I changed into more of a cocktail number – which was more appropriate to get the party started and hit the dance floor.
The Wedding Coordinator at Greystsone Estate was amazing in the lead up to our wedding and made things effortless and seamless on the actual day – meaning we could focus on celebrating with our family and friends.”
