Paige and Ben had always dreamed of getting married in the Hunter Valley. With the help of Hunter Events, they decided on their perfect venues – Hunter Valley Gardens for their ceremony and Harrigan’s Hunter Valley for their reception.
“One of our ‘must haves’ was our ceremony and reception venues being nearby, which worked perfectly for our guests. Plus the on-site accommodation at The Mercure Resort was an added convenience.”
CEREMONY
“Our chosen ceremony location was under the rotunda at Hunter Valley Gardens. However due to torrential rain and flooding the week leading up to our wedding, we were unable to use this space, so we chose above the waterfall. Our ceremony was quick, but very personal.”
RECEPTION
“When it came to planning our wedding, we really wanted our day to feel low key, special and to simply enjoy the moment with our loved ones – and preferably on the dance floor. We attended to the formalities straight away, so we could get the party going.”

“Mel our photographer was amazing! We decided to do our portraits in a more relaxed environment and Mel suggested ‘Ekerts Road’, a small dirt road about five minutes away…and we couldn’t have been happier with the end result.”
