KRYSTEN + TROY

Private Property, Branxton.

Krysten and Troy were at their Hunter Valley property. “We decided to get married at home with our closest family and friends. Nearly all our first dates were here. We would lose time chatting about life, over many glasses of wine, sitting on the back deck, listening (and dancing) to music, watching the sunset. And we still do this every chance we get. It was a no brainer to hold our wedding here. It’s a special place for both of us and we wanted our closest people to experience this too.”

CEREMONY
“We set up a very simple ceremony (with limited styling) so as to not take away from the view from our deck. It was a beautifully simple ceremony, and our personal vows were a highlight.”

RECEPTION
“Our theme was an earthy, country, Winter wedding. Everything from the stationery, flowers, tableware, and menu were inspired by our property and kept very minimal. We had a beautiful marquee in our yard with long tables dressed in linen tablecloths, and a bar area serving delicious cocktails!

Our reception was catered by Troy (prior to the day) and his amazing Muse Restaurant team. The menu was inspired by our garden, with most of the ingredients picked straight from the vegetable garden. We had a banquet style feast down the middle of the table, complemented by amazing Hunter Valley wine”.

“Our close friend Anna, and Troy’s sister Nicole, were our photographers and they were amazing! They knew exactly what we wanted. Nothing too over the top, nothing too posed and traditional, they captured the special and real moments and of course kept it fun and easy.”
