Kelsey and Jordyn knew that they wanted to get married in the stunning landscape of the Hunter valley, capturing the contrast between the vineyards, mountains and sky.

“We were looking for a venue that could host our intimate guest list of 40, and Willow Tree Estate was that perfect place!”

CEREMONY
“Our vision for the day was elegant, modern and tears and smiles in abundance! We chose black, white and bone as our colour palette, with summer and autumn colours in the florals to compliment the late March setting. Jade McIntosh simply nailed the brief. We got one of the last few days of daylight savings and the vineyards were beautifully green and abundant.

We held our ceremony in the garden with the most perfect view in all directions – the property, vineyards, mountains and the proud and picturesque Willow Tree homestead. We tearfully made it through personalised vows and honoured our dear Mums as our official witnesses. Our dogs Zeke and Frannie gleefully brought our rings down the aisle and stole pats from everyone on the way past. Our celebrant Monty King tied it all together in the most casual, funny and wholesome way.”

RECEPTION
“Following an amazing seated banquet feast we got straight into speeches and more happy tears. A sneaky little outfit change later and a fun entrance onto our dance floor with glow sticks got the party started. Silent Shout ensured the dance floor was full and the party continued well into the night. It was the most perfect day, filled with so much love our hearts were bursting!”

“As a BYO venue, we really enjoyed hand picking our vendors from some of the very best offered in the area and curating a day that felt like us and what we value- including showcasing our easy going but deep love for each other and our closest family and friends. We really cared about our nearest and dearest having the absolute best time – and they certainly did! We loved that almost all our guests were able to stay on site with us for the weekend.

Our best mate and photographer Dylan from Calla Lily rounded out our wedding day dream team. We were so lucky to have him photograph and oversee our day. His work has us reliving our magical day over and over again and we are so incredibly grateful.”
