The Convent Hunter Valley. 

For their wedding venue, Isabella and Ethan settled on the Hunter Valley with 150 of their nearest and dearest.

“From our very first visit to Circa 1876, we were captivated by the charming cottage. The exposed beams created a warm, intimate atmosphere, while the flexible floor plan allowed us to accommodate a larger guest list. We also loved the idea of having our immediate family stay on the grounds at The Convent.”

CEREMONY
“We held our ceremony on the driveway at The Convent with the historic building as a backdrop. The blue tones in the house inspired the daring yet whimsical floral bridesmaid gowns by Leo Lin. The black base of the dresses perfectly tied into our guests’ black dress code, while the pops of pink beautifully linked to my blush wedding dress. Every floral arrangement, thoughtfully curated by Noah & the Fox, enhanced the overall vibe without overpowering the space.

Our celebrant captured our story, from childhood to the present, shaped by friends and lovingly influenced by family. It was the start of what was going to be a fun, wholesome celebration. The ceremony styling was stunning, with handmade bows and subtle pearl accents.“

RECEPTION
“The reception styling was perfection—maybe a little too much for some—but it represented us perfectly: chaotic, colourful, and loud. Personalised tambourines filled the room and added an extra layer of fun to Uptown bands amazing performance.”

DETAILS
“Our main theme for the reception was moody yet charming, with dark wood softened by draped fabric and softer colour tones. The food was fancy yet nourishing, with hot chips and tomato sauce a must-have on every table.

Our photos transport us back to our precious day and will be cherished forever. Caitlin truly excelled in capturing the overall vibe and genuine moments of the day. We are so grateful.”
