Erin and Daniel decided on Glenworth Valley for their wedding venue as it had everything they could have asked for.

“It has a stunning landscape from every angle, a large multi-purpose venue, incredible staff and the horses just to top it off, making it even more romantic.

We knew our wedding day would fly by and we wanted to make the most of it with our nearest and dearest, so it was a bonus being able to enjoy a weekend away in their picturesque eco cabins.”

CEREMONY
“As much as we’d love to say that it was a beautiful sunny afternoon in the valley, there was a last-minute downpour prior to our ceremony. Lucky for us, Glenworth Valley could accommodate us indoors. This felt so intimate, surrounded by the people we love most, and Dan’s Godmother as our celebrant, which made the ceremony extra special and personal.”

RECEPTION
“Our reception was held in the Wilderness Room. Guests were served delicious canapés, tasty share plates, cocktails, all whilst overlooking the horses in the paddocks below. We love a boogie, so we choreographed our own first dance, which we magically nailed. After formalities we danced the night away.

As the location lends such a naturally beautiful colour palette, we decided to keep our style quite simple with neutrals and dusty tones.”

DETAILS
“I could tell my gown was ‘the one’ the moment I tried it on. I fell in love instantly with the floral lace detailing and that it showed my personality as a horticulturist. Dan individually made all the groomsmen and fathers broches out of brass which was a gift they all cherished.

All the staff at Glenworth Valley were beyond helpful and made the day run smoothly. Em was so flexible with the change of weather and Mario and his staff made our hearts full by ensuring we were well fed, that our glasses were never empty, and that our guests were having the best time.”
