“As soon as we visited Modus, we knew it was the venue for us. The modern coastal vibe and the quirky art meant that there would be minimal need to allocate budget for styling. Staying close to home meant we could stick to the plan of a cost-effective wedding, be close to home, and completely mitigate the stress that travel can have on people.”

CEREMONY
“We decided to have our photos taken together earlier in the day before the ceremony. We found a venue that was adaptable enough to host an emotional ceremony and raving reception all in the same place.”

RECEPTION
“Our reception kicked off with a cocktail hour, including a fancy margarita tower. After speeches, the DJ set began, and we got the party started. Silent Shout had the whole venue on the dance floor. It was so much fun!”

DETAILS
“We played into the coastal theme of the venue but with a slightly more luxe and celestial twist. We had a giant moon-shaped arbour, and the bridesmaids and flower girls wore accessories with stars and moons and the use of the baby’s breath in the florals was a subtle reference to the clouds. Our florist Emma perfectly encapsulated the brief.”
