With a history dating back to 1826, Wallalong House is known today for its historic homestead and perfectly manicured grounds, making it an unforgettable and lavish wedding venue. Features include a splendid mix of Georgian and Victorian architecture, a pear-tree-lined driveway, 1830’s sandstone stables with original cobblestone flooring, wide sweeping verandas with wrought iron
columns, an in-ground pool and glorious 200-year-old fig trees with breathtaking elevated views of the surrounding farmland. With exclusive access to the property, couples can enjoy their ceremony, post ceremony drinks and reception all in the one convenient location. PLUS, the homestead offers accommodation for up to 19 guests, allowing you to make the most of your time.

Owned and run by husband and wife team James and Tess Borg, their passion for delicious food and incredible service have made them highly sought after throughout the Newcastle and Hunter Valley wedding industry. The Fennel & Co. Team aim to make your wedding planning as easy and as stress free as possible – and will work closely with you to choose the catering option that is right for you, ensuring that you can enjoy your day without a hitch.

CEREMONY
Each wedding at Wallalong House is bespoke and offers couples a truly magnificent setting for their ceremony. Exchange vows underneath the spectacular 200-year-old fig trees, whilst taking in the extensive grounds and expansive rolling hill backdrop.

RECEPTION
Lavish outdoor dining can be enjoyed in the iconic Indian tent which overlooks the pool on one side, with breathtaking elevated country views on the other. A second tent makes for an ideal wet weather ceremony location, dance floor or additional reception seating. 170 guests can be seated comfortably in the main Indian tent, with the adjoining Indian tent providing additional seating for 300 guests in total. Featuring a spectacular 5-metre concrete bar, the space is finished with polished concrete floors, reclaimed timber trestle tables, industrial chairs, and antique wooden daybeds. Antique daybeds are scattered around the verandas, pool, and gardens, ensuring that your guests can wine, dine and relax in style.
