The Retreat offers a private location for your ceremony and reception with accommodation for all your family and friends to stay onsite. Our packages have been created to allow you to choose the suppliers of your choice to create the wedding of your dreams. The Retreat is a truly beautiful wedding venue offering a unique wedding experience customised by you.

 

CEREMONY
There are 2 stunning locations to have your ceremony. We have a picturesque, lush grassed lawn area with either a bush backdrop or sand dune backdrop under the canopy of spotted gum trees

Indoor options are also available in our main reception room. This showcases a beautiful bush backdrop through clear patio blinds, offering full natural light. The blinds can also be rolled up for the full outdoor feel.

 

RECEPTION
For your reception, we have a large indoor function room which can seat up to 80 guests or stand-up cocktail for 100 guests with an adjacent outdoor grassed area that you can flow out to. This outdoor area looks gorgeous when it’s all set up with lounge furniture, pallet tables, rugs, cushions, wine barrels etc – let your imagination run wild!!!

The style of reception is completely up to your styling. Our function space is a large blank canvas to be dressed up to your dream.

We offer capacity for 80 seated guests and 100 guests for standing cocktail service.

Marquees are also available upon request.

 

FOOD & DRINKS
Catering options are available with a list of preferred suppliers. Couples are welcome to choose the caterer of their choice. We just need the details to follow up insurances.

We are not a licensed venue, therefore drinks are BYO. RSA staff are essential and we can provide a list of preferred mobile bar services if required.

 

ACCOMMODATION
Our packages include accommodation for the duration of the booking for up to 80 guests. This allows for exclusive use.

There is a range of accommodation available for up to 80 Guests. All rooms are self contained, include all linen and are well spaced between each other. Rooming lists are provided to assist with bedding allocations.

This includes:
● 4 x Cabins 2-5 Guests
● 3 x Bungalows 4-6 Guests
● The Ranch – 8 Guests
● The Duplexes – 12-15 Guests each side
● The Lodge – 22 Guests

The cost of the accommodation can be easily passed on to your staying family and friends. This can be as simple as passing on the set rates that we have for the property or you can set the rates to suit your requirements. It can work out as little as $100-$150 per person for a 2 nights’ stay. No one needs to worry about Hire Cars, Taxis or designated drivers.

Couples can choose to style themselves if they wish otherwise we have a local Stylist business – A Beautiful Occasion – that can take care of everything for you including the florals.

The Retreat is very much a blank canvas and can be dressed up to whatever style or theme you like. We are a very rustic boho feel property with lush bushland surrounds. The Hampton style also works well.

There are some styling inclusions included in our packages. These are all hired externally and delivered onsite by our suppliers.

We are pet friendly, and welcome your furry friends on your special day.

 

PHOTO LOCATIONS
We have an abundance of lush bush backdrops as well as the sand dunes directly behind us. There is also a rustic road behind us which makes for a unique location. A greenery wall is also included in all packages.
