Diana and Tony were married at beautiful Stonehurst Cedar Creek. “Tony is a wine lover and he suggested having our wedding at a Hunter Valley winery. We loved the idea of a non-traditional cocktail style event with big open spaces, outdoor seating, beautiful greenery, trees, privacy and rustic vibes. As soon as we visited Stonehurst Cedar Creek it made perfect sense for us to hold our DIY wedding there.”

CEREMONY
“Our ceremony was held in the Poplar Grove…after a disproportionate amount of rain, the clouds parted, and the sun blessed us with perfect weather. It was truly magical and cinematic! All of our wonderful vendors worked seamlessly with one another and everything was better than we could have expected.”

RECEPTION
“We had a non-traditional cocktail style reception with no formal seating. The space was styled beautifully with vintage dusty pink lounges, rustic wooden pallets and wooden chairs and tables scattered throughout.

We had a clear marquee as part of the wet weather plan, but its presence – even without the rain – added another dimension to the reception, which we did not anticipate. We loved it!”

DETAILS
“Our most memorable moment was our first dance. Our choreography was based off Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud dance video. The routine was beautiful and very ambitious.”
