DANIEL + MIKE

Daniel and Mike wanted their wedding to be a big celebration of them – so they turned their annual White Christmas party into a White Wedding at their home in Lake Macquarie.

CEREMONY
“Our ceremony was held on our back deck at home. The space was transformed into a spectacular wonderland with stunning florals and decor.

Mike has a Lebanese background, so we had Lebanese drummers bring us into the ceremony which was a highlight for our guests to enjoy.”

RECEPTION
“Having our wedding at home was the best decision we could have made. We got to enjoy amazing food and entertainment with all of our loved ones.

After dinner our guests were treated to a fire twirling performance and a second performance by the Lebanese drummers.”

DETAILS
“Holding our wedding at home meant that we had a lot more flexibiltiy in terms of the structure of the day.

We decided to do our wedding portraits prior to the ceremony, which made for a smooth transition into the reception. This meant we could spend the whole time celebrating with friends and family. We wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Our wedding day was the hottest December day in 5 years. We kept our guests cool with misting fans and ice cold towelettes.”
