Cathie is the fun loving and extremely hard working woman behind Caterforce catering. Born and raised in Newcastle, and having raised her own family in Maitland, she is a wealth of knowledge regarding functions and events in the local region. You name it, she has done it.
Cathie and her husband Steve love to travel any opportunity they can, and are lucky enough to have had many memorable trips within Australia and overseas.

2020 marks 26 years of creating exciting and delicious food for celebrations and events, small to large. Cathie prides Caterforce on offering customers fantastic food, personal service and utmost reliability. The team work with the client to craft menus that suit their needs and taste buds, ensuring that all angles are covered and all options have been explored. With Cathie’s vast experience and culinary skills, they guarantee to deliver a catering service that is both personal and professional, and bound to impress.
Cathie says she loves to cater weddings. The clients, the fast pace, working out the logistics of pulling it all together on the day. It’s a thrill.

When we asked Cathie what she would like to see more of in terms of weddings her reply sums up her personality perfectly. “I would love to see more games at weddings…they are so much fun”.
TIPS FOR COUPLES
Cathie’s advice for couples planning their wedding is to relax, roll with it and enjoy the day. “Don’t stress out on every minute detail. Delegate tasks to family and friends, and don’t leave everything to the last minute.”
What was your first job?
I was an aerobics instructor at 15 years of age.

Grilled Mediterranean vegetable platter in Istanbul…AMAZING!

Vodka martini espresso
What is your favourite food / cake flavour?
Vegetarian Lasagne…my go to food.
Best way to spend the weekend?
I work every weekend LOL!
But I do love to travel anywhere, anytime.
If not travelling overseas, the Harley is the next best thing.
Favourite holiday destination?
Hmmm tough one…I would say either London or Turkey.
