Bree and Nathan wanted a black and white, cool, romantic aesthetic for their wedding. Something that was timeless and classic with a bit of edge. White Barn Pokolbin was the perfect venue to deliver this!

CEREMONY
“Our celebrant Brad was wonderful. We have known him for almost as long as we have known each other, so it made our ceremony extremely personal to have him tell our love story. There were so many sweet moments.”

RECEPTION
“The reception space was beautifully styled. We had crisp linen tablecloths with contrasting black cutlery and grey napkins. Our tables were adorned with beautiful clouds of white flowers and an abundance of candles to create a romantic feel. 

We kicked off the dancefloor with some traditional Macedonian dancing in a tribute to Bree’s late Grandparents who were Macedonian. Everyone was on their feet and the atmosphere was amazing.”

DETAILS
“My ceremony gown was customised to incorporate a higher split so that the focus was my black Jimmy Choo heels. I chose these shoes long before I even found my dress. It was like I had to find a dress to match the shoes.

My reception dress was the mini version of my gown, which I paired with some high top white Converse for ultimate comfort on the dancefloor.

Teresa our photographer was the MVP of the day. It was 39 degrees and she still managed to capture everything so perfectly. From the flowers to the styling and music and the food, everything was more than we could ever have imagined.”
